I met Ann in 1981ish while a grad student at the University of Minnesota in MPLS. I was a TA for founder of MN Opera, H. Wesley Balk -- and I was lucky to meet Ann and Ben Krywosz. We all became passio nately connected to Wes and his approach to working with "the singer/actor." In 1987, Ann and I became "partners" - MD and Director of MN Touring production of CARMEN. We were great collaborators and became life-long friends. Later in the late 80s, Ann invited me to work with her newly formed OPERAWORKS in a number of workshops and WE LOVED working together. Soon I would become the AD at HISTORY THEATRE in St. Paul and we would go our separate ways, BUT...ALWAYS maintained our friendship tro this day. KUDOS to you, Ann, for creating this wonderufl organization and 'touching the lives' of some many singer/actors!!!! ENJOY the next steps in your marvelous musical life!!!!

Love you,

Ron Peluso
